Alice Springs Convention Centre 93 Barrett Drive Most conference sessions will be held at the conference hub, the Alice Springs Convention Centre, which is less than five minutes drive from the central business district and 15 minutes from the airport. It offers delegates the opportunity to experience the true essence of the outback with an abundance of natural light and spectacular views of the nearby MacDonnellRanges. The Convention Centre is equipped with state of the art technology and facilities and was a winner in the 2006 Brolga Northern Territory Tourism Awards.
Araluen Arts Centre as the focal point of Alice Springs’ performing and visual arts scene, incorporating galleries and a theatre. The galleries feature a program of exhibitions with a focus on art from the central Australian region. The theatre hosts performances by national touring companies and many high quality local productions.
Some sessions will be outside the main conference venues and buses will transport delegates to their nominated session and return to the conference hub afterwards.
Buses will also drive a circuit between major accommodation areas and the main conference venues at the beginning and end of each day. Delegates will need their ID tag to travel on buses and enter venues.
